We are working hard towards completion of the WW2 Airmen project in the Forest of Bowland. Long delays on this project have been mainly caused by the objection to the Memorial boulder by the AONB. This was eventually overcome and supported by the local plannng Authority the Ribble Valley Borough Council and then the Government Planning Inspector but this took nearly a year and a half. Funding applications as always have been submitted for positive, healthy and challenging activities. We hope to complete the WW2 project by September 2015.
A meeting has taken place between ourselves and Ribblesdale School who we hope will maintain our websites and can be used and supported by their students for years to come.
