We have been working with the East Lancashire Motor Driving Club for 14-17 year olds to do pre-driving with their qualified driving instructors. These currently take place in Blackburn. The number of road deaths and accidents not only locally but nationally is on the increase and we wish to put young people on these well established courses. For 3 x 3 hour sessions this costs £75.00 per young person so this is rather expensive so as ever we are seeking funding. 4 members from our youth group have taken part in a pilot project and have already learned so much. These were Thomas Stirzaker, Zac Robinson, Jordan Rawcliffe and James Barnes. Well done lads. Since then we have had a number of youth members on this project.
