Three of our youth members went fishing at Kirkham (Whitmore Fisheries) with Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People on Wednesday 15th June. The sun was shining for a change and plenty of fish were caught and put back in. After an hour of getting everything sorted and pulling out fish a competition took place and yes the fish went quiet during this period. However, this didn't stop Ewan Jackson and Bailey Moss from our club battling it out for first place and Ewan ended up with 21 fish and Bailey 20. Michael Moir our third representative caught 14. Ewan got the first place trophy and Bailey Runner Up. Clitheroe Youth finished top out of all the other clubs that attended and a good evening was had by all that attended. Several other young people from the other clubs certainly caught some big ones as did our lads but Burnley seemed to have caught that big one!
